Selgis Induction Feb 21

Post by Pete »

Waiting on confirmation from Selgis, but when they have a schedule, they will schedule a delivery of induction training in English to allow membership at their range.

The session will allow for up to 5 plus me, so I will announce when they can offer and see who wants to join.

What;s the cost for this? I may be in... I like Selgis, but it's a little far to go regularly for me... but I definitely like their range...

I'd go as well. I've been planning to become a member with them anyway. Haven't gotten around to it so far as it seems that they only offer those courses after February (probably too cold for them to bother with it right now :D )

Selfish finally cam back with dates. 28 May or 18 June for 1.5 hours 1500 - 1630. 300 base fee plus 150 per extra person.

I’m definitely going to do it, so will go with the most popular date. Anyone who wants to join needs to fill out their membership form first, which I can provide.

I've booked the 18th of June. Let me know who wants to come along.

I'll confirm in full closer to the date if I may; but have provisionally blocked it in my calendar.

Should be fine. If I need to confirm sooner, just count me in and worst case I'll just pay the 150chf and lose it :)

By Selgis there is a great bunker that can be visited:

(I've been once before, but would gladly go again). They usually open only on specific days, run by volunteers... There is also a nice potholing/splunking area, and the worlds steepest train thing... Would be nice to merge the shooting with something else as I assume it wont be the whole day?

I've booked for the 18th of June - they (Selgis club) communicate pretty slowly, so will let you know once they confirm. They said 1500-1630 for the training, so perhaps we could visit the bunker earlier in the afternoon if that lines up?
